Vertical storage racking consists of a series of 'A' frames, manufactured from square hollow section steel. The frames are connected by horizontal hot rolled steel angle ties that form rails and stability bracing. Product separation is achieved typically by either 'D' dividers or spigot arms which are adjustable along the length of the rack.
The racks are ideal for the storage of long manually handled items and can be supplied in single or double sided configurations. Goods are easily accessible making vertical storage racks an ideal choice for retail outlets and industrial applications.
2D and 3D CAD design facilities enable us to offer our clients a visual perception of the finished racking system.
Our installations are carried out by experienced site engineers who are SIERS accredited and hold operators licences for all types of mechanical lifting and access equipment. By working closely with clients our site engineers ensure all projects are completed on time with minimum disruption.
Our service includes full survey, layout drawings, risk assessments & method statements, structural calculations, liaison with Building Control and HSE departments for projects as well as project management. Our Sheffield based facility produces bespoke racking and shelving with a range of ancillary components.
